merlin, i don't have a secret per se as much as constantly making little adjustments in the way i play. sometimes there's a big payoff, sometimes not.

it's hard to put into words, i think we'd have to watch each other play to see "oh, i would have done that differently." because it's probably a lot of little things rather than one big thing.

one thing that i have picked up on, though, is that it's best for me to get in the best matches on the lowest levels possible, and just focus on making the required number of matches on the higher levels, even if they're really awful matches. occasionally i'll luck out with a super long match on a high level but that's extremely rare.
